Privacy Policy

OpenPasture helps pasture-based farmers organize farm context, field observations, and grazing recommendations. The farmer remains the operator. This policy explains what we collect when you use OpenPasture hosted services or connect the OpenPasture app inside ChatGPT.

Information We Collect

ChatGPT App Data

When you use the OpenPasture ChatGPT app, ChatGPT may call OpenPasture tools with the setup details or field notes you choose to share in the conversation. We use that information to save farm state, return onboarding status, and render the onboarding summary component. We do not ask for full chat transcripts, passwords, payment card data, government identifiers, or precise location data unless a farmer intentionally provides location context as part of farm setup.

How We Use Information

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate OpenPasture, when you direct us to connect a service, or when required by law.

Retention And Control

We keep farm records while your account or hosted runtime is active, unless a shorter period is required by law or agreed with you. You can ask us to correct or delete hosted account data by contacting support.

Security

OpenPasture uses tenant API keys and hosted runtime isolation to protect farm data. No system is perfect, so please do not put secrets, financial details, or regulated personal information into farm notes.
